WeST Drilling Products AS (WDP) is a company in the WeST Group and is focusing on developments and supply of innovative step change in drilling products and solutions to the petroleum industry.
WDP is currently specially focused on making the patented CMR Technology ready for market. This step change technology will greatly reduce the overall cost associated with drilling operations and eliminate hole problems associated with differential sticking and pressure fluctuations caused by swab & surge effects. The rig will be fully robotized, hence personnel will not be doing work on drill floor and no personnel injuries will occur.
